Eli loves to do my workout DVD with me. He is very serious about doing the work, and when he didn't have any weights like mine, he ran into the play room to see what he could use. He came out with 2 bowling pens to use as his arm weights. I love his creativity.

Ryan stayed home a little later this morning, so we took a long walk before he had to leave. We couldn't pass up the nice weather! We all loved getting some fresh air, as well as the warmer temperature. Sounds like crazy weather is headed our way, so I'm glad we were able to get out today.

Eli is into making forts these days, so of course Miles is as well. They had lots of fun with their flashlights inside, and then took a quick reading break.

1.27

Eli was back to his regular self this morning! So thankful! Miles was so excited to have his buddy back. Eli decided he needed to practice his diving skills, so of course, Miles did as well. Whatever keeps them entertained!

1.26

Eli was quarantined to his room all day. I thought this would be a battle, but he actually didn't mind it at all. He had the iPad to entertain him, and several toys. Ryan bought him some fun new blocks to play with as well, to help the time go by. I'm happy to report that by dinner, he had his appetite back, and was bouncing off the walls. Praying it isn't a tease!!!

1.25

I've been dreading the day Eli brings a major sickness home from preschool. I knew it would happen, and when I heard about several cases of strep going around his class, I figured it'd be any day. He woke up fine, but by lunchtime, was showing the symptoms of strep. When he woke up from his nap with a high temp, I called the doctor immediately.

We got in pretty fast, and she said he had some bad blisters in his mouth. When we got home, he started throwing up.

I'm praying the others don't catch it!!

1.24

All 3 boys at 19 weeks. Silas is definitely a combination of his brothers. He has the same shape head as Miles, but looks more like Eli through the eyes. Love these boys!!

1.23

It has been quite chilly here in KY! I was trying to find a hat for Si, and remembered Eli had several that he should be able to wear. I searched my boxes, and found one of my favorites.

1.22

Today was UK day at pre-school. Mamaw just happened to buy some new sweatshirts for the boys, so it worked out perfect. Of course, Miles had to wear his as well.

1.21

Ryan had the day off today for MLK. It is so nice to have him home one extra day! We drove back from Louisville and had some Chipotle for dinner. Yum!!!

1.20

The H family brought home Milo today. However, it was short lived as they decided they weren't quite ready for a furry friend. Oh well...guess they can say they had a dog for a day.

1.19

We're at Papa's house, so that means there will be at least one night with ice cream. Miles was digging the chocolate ice cream tonight. Aunt Heather was feeding him, and he ate it all up. This boy is b.u.s.y., but also one of the sweetest!

1.18

I've posted about the scooter before. It's a favorite, and lately the boys have been taking rides together. They have more fun on that scooter!

Silas had his 4 month checkup today. He weighed in at 16 pounds, 14 ounces. He was 26.5 inches long. 75% for weight. 98% for length. 90% for head. Dr. Wells said he looked perfect. He kept cracking up at her while she was doing her exam. She said he was a happy baby!

1.16

Silas tried out his baby seat for the first time. He had fun hitting the toy over and over. His big brothers wanted to sit in it as well. I ended up having to put it away, so those two would stop fighting over who gets to sit in it!

1.15

Miles loves to pretend to talk on the phone. He always calls Papa first. Always! Up until recently, his phone only dialed Papa. More recently though he calls Heather or Karen. Now he says, "oh man, no home." (As in nobody answered!)

1.14

Si is 4 months today! Time is flying by. I feel like I just took the 3 month photo. He's such a happy and easy boy. We head to the doctor on Thursday.

1.13

We went this morning for a drive to see the project Ryan has been working on at a local school with his class. Afterwards, we decided to grab some lunch at our favorite sub place, since kids eat for $.99 on Sundays. The boys were so good, and loved wearing their hats.

1.12

Eli has always had a vivid imagination. I could take away most of his toys, and he'd still have tons of things to entertain him, using his imagination.

He grabbed his 2 baseball bats and said they were going to be his oars. He jumped up on his activity center, put his oars in the water, and started rowing.

1.11

I took this photo of Silas and I today while we we had some alone time. He was laughing so hard when I was just simply talking to him.

1.10

I'm so thankful Silas is such an easy going baby who sleeps a lot. It gives me a lot of time with Eli and Miles, and makes life with 3 so much easier. Not sure what I'd do if he was a fussy baby! We'd be in trouble.

Miles, Silas and and I ran some errands this morning while Eli was at preschool. I love the fact that if Silas falls asleep in the car, I can bring him in and set him on top of the dryer, and he'll sleep until his next feeding.

1.9.13

I love reading books, and thankfully so do the boys. I have always loved reading stories to them at night, and Eli is getting older so that we can actually talk about what he thinks is going to happen next, etc. I also love that I can order books through Scholastic with his pre-school. So cheap!! Tonight we read a new book about a mouse, which is perfect for Eli, considering he has an imaginary one.

1.8.13

I was giving Silas a bath this morning while the other two played in Miles' room. When I walked in afterwards, this is what I found. Two little buns sitting on one little stool. Too cute!

1.7.13

Mamaw bought Ryan a new stand for his iPad for Christmas. Let's be honest and state now that the boys have really taken over the iPad. It's an awesome stand for then to watch a show on. We've really been using it a lot!

1.6.13

Mamaw called yesterday to see if she could come and visit us today. Of course we said, "yes!" She watched the boys while Ryan and I went to church, and then we picked them up for lunch. The boys actually did well, and stayed seated. Silas fell asleep on my lap.

1.5.13

Silas rolled over today for the first time! When I went in to get him from his morning nap, I found him on his back staring up at me, with a huge smile on his face. He seemed so proud! I was proud too, but also a little sad, as this means he's growing up. I wish he'd stop!

1.4.13

The boys were in a picture taking mood today. When I started snapping away, Eli started changing his face. I couldn't click away fast enough, and I was cracking up behind the lens. He's not camera shy anymore.

January 3

Silas is getting too big!! I could just hold and love on him forever. He is the best baby. I'm so thankful for that, since I have 2 busy boys to chase after!!

January 2

We headed back home today after being at Grammy's for 2 weeks. I'm so thankful for Ryan's schedule he has. I love that we know exactly when his breaks are and he never has to worry about vacation time. Eli fell asleep on the way home today, which never happens!!

January 1

Well...here we go again. I think I'll continue my photo a day. I'm kind of missing not doing it!

We love our Grammy! We are so very thankful to have her in our lives. She is such a big help when we're in town, and loves on our boys so much. The boys love her just as much back! I love how Miles calls her, "Gammy!"
