Tuesday

We made a quick trip to target last night. I found these $1 pumpkin buckets for the boys. Eli did not put his down, and even took it to bed with him. At 5:00 this morning, Eli be bopped into our room ready to head to school. He laid down with us, but every time I opened my eyes, he was staring right at me with a huge smile on his face, so we got up and came downstairs.

Papa had not seen Silas since we brought him home from the hospital, so they had some snuggle time this weekend. I'm so thankful the boys have such great Grandparents!!

Saturday

We came back to Grammy and Papa's this weekend to celebrate Oliver's 1st birthday. The girls were over and holding Silas as usual. Hannah is getting too big!! She is still so sweet, and always has time for her little cousins!

Friday

Eli picked out his Halloween costume a long time ago. It's so fun that he is actually into holidays this year. He decided he wanted to be a policeman, and we found the costume at Costco. I let him try it on today, and he LOVED it! He was even up for picture taking, which never happens!!! I think he played all morning in his costume, and was very diligent about not losing any of the pieces that it came with.

Thursday

I put these skeleton pjs on Miles tonight, which he loved. These were Eli's last year. Eli was sad he didn't have a pair to wear this year. He told Miles, "Wow! Those are totally cool jammies!"

Wednesday

Don't you love surprises? I do! Today around 10:30, my mom called and said, "I'm in your driveway!" This was the best news I could have heard! Not only did Ryan have a late meeting, but I was just saying to him this morning how it stinks to not live in the same town as your family. My mom made our day!!

Tuesday

We received a Toys R Us Christmas catalog in the mail, which Eli spotted right away. He's very into holidays and birthdays right now. I was wrapping a present for Oliver and Eli was upset because he wanted to play with the present. So, I handed him the magazine and told him to make a list for Santa. He quickly replied back, "not for Santa! For you to buy me!" Haha! No fooling that kid!

Monday

We are having some summer like weather this week. Today was in the mid 70s with lots of sunshine. The big boys and I went outside to play after naps. They had fun playing baseball and running around.

Sunday

We were all excited about Ryan returning from England today! He had a great trip, even though it was quick. He said his presentation went well, too. Glad to have him home safe and sound!

Saturday

The boys LOVE playing in the basement at Grammy and Papa's! So many fun toys. These are the same toys I played with when I was their age. It is much more exciting than the small playroom at our house!!

Friday

We hung out with the girls today. They are always so good to the boys, and I enjoy the free entertainment! Of course, they all love to hold Silas.

Thursday

Eli asked me to come and play cars with him tonight. When I walked into the other room, I found that he had all his cars parked perfectly in the designated parking spots on the rug. Too funny!

Wednesday

We came to Grammy and Papa's house today. Miles decided to fix a few things after his nap.

Tuesday

Silas was hanging out with the boys in the playroom after a full tummy. He was happy to be watching his brothers play and loves when someone talks to him.

Monday

The boys were in the playroom playing the other day, when Eli asked Miles if he wanted to read some books. Both boys love to read books, which I love as well! Eli was laying down since he didn't feel like himself, and so Miles hopped up on his back so he could see too.

Sunday

Silas is one month today, which just seems crazy! Between life with a newborn and a week or so being very sick, the month has been a blur. We love our littlest man so much!

Eli and Miles painted their pumpkins tonight. They both had so much fun! I taped their initials on and then handed them a paint brush. Eli is very into Halloween this year!!

Saturday

Eli has been having lots of fun with blocks lately. He has been building high towers and then pushing them around to stay clear of Miles. He's always so proud of his creation!

Friday

Poor Eli is not feeling his best. He's had a fever since Tuesday night and now has the chills as well. We went to the doctor and she said it is just a virus that has to work its way out of his system. I hate seeing my little ones sick.

Thursday

Eli was so good when he went to my doctor appointment the other day. We had to wait at least an hour to be called back, and then we were back in the room for at least another hour. He was entertained by my iPhone and made himself comfy up on the exam table.

Wednesday

Silas gave me a big smile today after he finished eating. I know babies don't start to smile until 4 weeks or so, but I am pretty sure he was smiling in response to me. I kept talking to him and smiling, and he kept smiling back.

Tuesday

Eli had his first field trip with his preschool today. We went to Boyd's Orchard, and had so much fun. Eli loved the hayride and the playground, but thought the pumpkin picking was too dirty! He also loved feeding the goats and other animals in the petting zoo!

Monday

It was another beautiful fall day today. The boys took their naps and then we headed outside for some fun. They could stay outside all day.

Sunday

Mamaw bought the boys matching pjs. I put them on the two older boys tonight and they loved the fire trucks. They were both running around the house acting like fire fighters.

Saturday

Heather came down to spend the day with us, which we all loved. She took the boys for a walk, bought us chipotle for lunch, snuggled Silas, and took lots of great photos. It was a great day!

Friday

Silas is 3 weeks today! Time is flying too fast! I couldn't get him to look at camera...only wanted to look to the side. (Probably watching his crazy brothers who were in the room as well!)

I'm so very thankful for three healthy boys. I pray they grow up to be best friends, and to always support one another, no matter what.

We are so blessed!

Wednesday

Mamaw came to hang out with us this afternoon, and help with the boys. Ryan has a late meeting so I was a little anxious about bedtime by myself. I was glad she could come and help out! The boys loved having her here, and Eli was sad when she wasn't staying the night.

Tuesday

Eli has always been a jumper since he could walk. For a long period of time, he would jump everywhere, instead of walking.

One of his favorite things to do is to line up toys along the floor, and jump over them. I love how his mind thinks! I think 3 years is my favorite age so far!

Monday

My mom brought the boys back this morning. I was so excited to see them! Eli played for about 30 minutes and then asked when they were going back to Grammy's house. I wasn't surprised.

After dinner Ryan took him for a much needed trim. He loves getting his hair cut.
