Monday

Wow! I can't believe it is the end of the blog. I'm not sure I am going to continue doing the picture-a-day, as some days it is hard to find a picture to post. (We live a boring life). It is fun to look back, so maybe I will.

We had a low key New Year's. The girls were over of course and Aunt Heather, and we played some games. The little people have so much fun playing, and can entertain themselves so easily. The couch has been used as a fort in the past few days.

Sunday

Happy Anniversary to us! It's hard to believe it has been 6 years since we tied the knot! They have been the best 6 years of my life for sure. I am truly blessed to have such a loving husband, and 3 healthy boys!

Saturday

Eli and Sophie play so well together. We rarely hear them cry or fight when they are the only ones playing. I love to hear them giggle at each other!

Friday

Ryan brought me some roses home with a sweet note, thanking me for all that I do. It was a nice end to the day!

Thursday

Eli loves all of his new cars and trucks he received from Grammy and Papa. He takes them to bed each night and even eats with them. He made a cool ramp out of an old piece of carpet in the basement today.

Wednesday

Eli received a new sword from Mamaw. He's been having lots of fun playing pirates! Miles also has one, so there's been lots of pirate talk happening around here.

Tuesday

Merry Christmas!!

The boys had a great Christmas as usual. They received more toys than needed, but loved them all. Eli was very into presents this year. Miles didn't really care that much about them, and just wanted whatever Eli opened. Eli did not think Santa could fit down the chimney, but looks like he did!

Monday

Silas is 14 weeks. Okay..this is a few days past due, but who needs to know that?!?

Sunday, December 23, 2012

Saturday

The boys have been getting a lot of cousin time the past few days. They really love their "girls" as they call them. Eli and Miles are so used to wrestling with their Daddy, that if anyone else gets on the floor with them and lies down, then they automatically pounce. Sorry, girls!

Friday

We are at Grammy's for Christmas and are so excited! The boys love playing on Grammy's couch. They were sitting on top of one another after lunch and giggling away. Boys!

Thursday

We went to go see Santa this year. Eli was very excited, and we knew Miles would most likely not sit on his lap. Santa had a big chair with a ledge on each side, and as soon as Ryan put Miles next to Santa, he wanted no part. He could not get off the ledge fast enough. Ryan convinced him to stay seated long enough for the photos. The lady took about 10 shots, and I think in 8 of them, Miles was staring at Santa like "who the heck are you??" The one picture that was halfway decent of the boys, Santa had his eyes closed. Figures! Silas just sat there smiling away even though Santa didn't even look at him.

Sunday

We let the boys open their Christmas presents early as we did not want to haul them all the way home, and then back again. We figured this was probably our last year before Eli actually started believing in Santa and we could still get away with it.

We bought the boys one big present (train set) and then they both had 2 small gifts. We know they will received a ton of gifts from the Grandparents, so no need to buy them a ton ourselves! They were vey pleased with what they did receive, especially the train set. They've been playing with it non-stop.

Wednesday

We took the boys to Southern Lights tonight at the horse park. It was so much fun! The boys had a blast, and their favorite part was the model train room. I'm not sure I've seen Eli so excited before. He kept running back and forth between all the trains. He asked to go back to the room about 10 minutes after we left. Miles had lots of fun as well! Enjoyed making some Christmas memories, and new traditions!

Tuesday

I got the sudden urge to do some cookie making this afternoon. I'm not sure why since Ryan doesn't eat sweets, and I surely don't need them in the house, but thought it'd be fun for Eli. He was so excited to get started. He lasted about 5 minutes and then went off with one of my utensils playing sword fighting. Typical boy. He came back around to taste them, and approved.

Monday

We had a fun play date this morning with Liz, Case, and Rhett. Case is about 9 months older than Eli. Rhett and Miles are just 2 weeks apart, so the boys have fun playing together. It's nice to have some boys their age to play with since we're usually around girls all the time. I enjoyed the play date just as much as the boys did! Sweet friends for sure!!

Saturday

The boys were playing with my dish towels this morning. Ryan decided they'd make a good cape, and of course the boys were all over that idea. They ran around acting like they were saving people all morning. I love their imagination.

Friday

Littlest man is 3 months today! He is as sweet as ever. If only they'd stay this small!

Thursday

Eli was so excited to show me what he made for me when I picked him up at school today. I put it right on the tree when we got home. When he came down after taking a rest, he noticed it right away and moved it to a branch he thought was better. Then, I suggested he put it on his tree in his room. His face lit up! He was so excited, and ran upstairs right away to do so.

Wednesday

The sun was out all day today, which helped make it feel warmer than it really was. After naps, we put on our hats and coats and headed to the back yard. Silas woke up a little after we got out there, so I pulled a chair up to the door, so I could feed him, but still watch the boys. This was my view while I fed Silas. It was very entertaining.

Tuesday

Today while I was feeding Silas, the boys were watching a show. Miles loves to sit in your lap while he watches a show or reads a book. He wasn't happy that Silas was blocking his seat, so as soon as I finished and moved Silas over to the side, he jumped on my other leg. Before I knew it, Eli came and jumped behind me and I had to take a photo.

Some days There are moments where I want to pull my hair out, and then there are moments like this that make it all worth while. Thankful for the opportunity to be their Mom!

Monday

Giddy Up!

Eli asks every morning he goes to school if he can wear his boots. I always say "no" since I know they will be hard to play outside and run around with, but since it was so cold today, I knew they would not be going out and decided to let him wear them. He was over the moon with joy when he heard my answer. He loves, loves his boots!! He is looking way too grown up!

Sunday, December 9, 2012

Sunday

The boys love having Ryan home. They wrestle with him like crazy, and jump on him like he's a punching bag. Today they kept making him bend over like a horse.

Saturday

Silas just melts my heart. He's so smiley all the time, and is really cooing these days! He's starting to notice his crazy brothers more, and they can always make him laugh as well.

Friday, December 7, 2012

Friday

Oh, Eli! What a character you are!!

We bought Eli some new boots and he wants to wear them all the time. He came in last night with his train conductor hat on and his boots. I think he needs a cowboy hat!

Thursday

I took this picture of Silas and myself today after I finished feeding him. I read on a blog somewhere how important it is to have the Mom in photos with her children. This is true, as I'm always the one taking the photos. I want my boys to have lots of photos with both parents, so when they get older, they will be able to look back and see how much we loved them.

Wednesday

Oh my! I can't believe that two years ago today, we delivered our second son, Miles James. I think it was about this time that I was scarfing down a grilled cheese and fries as I hadn't eaten for so long, and staring at little Miles. He loves to laugh, loves his Daddy and Papa, loves to go bye-bye, chips, and loves to push Eli's buttons. :)

We celebrated today by taking a long walk to the park...his favorite thing, and his favorite meal for dinner...chick-fil-a.

We love you, Miles!!!

Tuesday

Ryan does a community service project every fall semester with his class. He is currently working on this years project, and brought home his hard hat. The boys were of course fighting over it. Eli was wearing it this morning while he worked on his puzzle.

Monday

Silas has found his hands! He was moving them around and waving them right in front of his face. It was cracking me up. I love this little guy so much. I wish he'd quit growing so fast!

Sunday, December 2, 2012

Sunday

We celebrated Miles' birthday today with all of our family. He loved the attention! His theme was garbage trucks as he loves to watch them on trash day. He also loves to throw anything and everything in the trash! If something is missing, I know to look in the trash.

Saturday

Papa came home from work with a big Elmo balloon for Miles. Miles was so excited and played with it all evening. Every time it got away from him, he would say, "Oh no!!!! Oh no!!!"

Papa is Miles best buddy! He is the first person he asks about when he wakes up. He loves his Papa, and I think Papa might like him a little too. ;)

Friday

I was doing tummy time with Si this morning, and his two older brothers decided to join in. Miles is not as gentle as Eli is, so I can't leave him alone with Silas, but they both thought it was so funny to lay on their tummies as well.

Thursday

Eli has always had to take 1 toy with him to bed. Miles has recently started to want to do the same, and usually chooses a basketball or football. I turned on the monitor to see if he was asleep yet, and this is what I found.

Wednesday

The boys played so good with each other this morning. As in, I didn't hear anything from them for hours. I took full advantage and was doing some cleaning in the kitchen. It made me smile to hear them talk and giggle.

Tuesday, November 27, 2012

Tuesday

The boys are loving the Christmas tree. Eli wanted to know why there was grass all over it. I had to put all the ornaments up top as Miles' little hands like to take them off. We've only broken one so far. It will be a Christmas miracle if that's the only one.

Monday, November 26, 2012

Monday

The boys love their scooters. At almost anytime of the day, you can find them zooming around, chasing each other on one of these. Then they leave them parked somewhere. They have provided hours of entertainment.

Sunday, November 25, 2012

Sunday

Somer made Silas a cute onesie that I just love. I put it on him this morning and snapped a few photos while he was wide awake. Silas is so sweet and happy these days...I just love him! He is the perfect addition to our family.

Friday

Happy Birthday to me!!

I had a great 32nd birthday with family. We had our Thanksgiving tonight so it worked out perfectly to be my BDay meal as well. Mom made a delicious meal as always, and even made her famous cake! Dad bought me my usual ice cream cake from Baskin n' Robbins. It was a great night!

Thursday

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We celebrated with Ryan's family tonight, and will do ours tomorrow night. We had a fun day playing with all the cousins. Eli and Miles were excited to finally have a boy cousin to play with. Charlie is such a cutie!!

Wednesday, November 21, 2012

Wednesday

Ryan, Eli, Miles and I ran into the mall real quick this morning to exchange some shoes for Ryan. Since we weren't there for very long, we decided to grab a quick bite to eat on our way home. Miles loves to go "bye-bye!"

Tuesday

Eli and Miles are really starting to interact with each other. It's not always laughter and good times, but they are having more conversations, and playing more. Nobody can make Miles laugh like Eli can. Miles loves when Eli pays attention to him. They were on the couch tonight and Miles thought it was hilarious that Eli was sitting on him.

Monday, November 19, 2012

Monday

Eli took a trip to the fire station with his pre-school. He was very excited, as he loves fire trucks! His favorite part was sitting in the truck of course! Afterwards we went to chick-fil-a for lunch, which he loved sitting with his friends and playing in the play area.

Sunday, November 18, 2012

Sunday

It was a gorgeous day today! After naps we went for a walk with Papa and the "girls." The boys had lots of fun, and Silas slept the whole time. He loves the Ergo!

I'm so thankful we live close enough to family that we can do things like this. Especially our Grandparents!

Saturday

After their oatmeal, the boys asked for some lucky charms. They know they only get these at Granmy's house. They both will only eat the marshmallows. Miles had some green teeth afterwards.

Friday, November 16, 2012

Friday

The boys love to sing, dance, and play guitar. We have one dance party daily, and these are probably some of my most favorite memories with the boys so far. They laugh so hard, you can't help but smile. I hope these are moments they always remember.

Thursday, November 15, 2012

Thursday

Silas had his 2 month appointment today. He weighed in at 14 lbs 2 oz and 23.5 inches. He cried right when he felt the shots, but stopped as soon as I picked him up. Dr. W thought he looked just like his brothers. (This was the first time we were able to get into her with Silas)

Wednesday

Eli saw all the Christmas trees on display when we went to Target, and loved all the lights and decorations. I remembered I bought him a tiny tree last year for his room, so after naps we put his up. He was so excited and can't stop looking at it.

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

Tuesday

Silas is so sweet. I'm cherishing every moment since this is my last baby.
